On 25 February 2025, ESA held its annual General Meeting, bringing together industry leaders, experts, and members to discuss key developments and set priorities for the year ahead. The meeting served as a platform for important discussions on advocacy efforts at the European level, regulatory updates, market trends, and initiatives to strengthen public awareness.

Participants exchanged insights on how to navigate industry challenges, enhance cooperation with policymakers, and promote responsible sun exposure. Updates on regulatory matters, including engagement with EU institutions and national authorities, were presented, along with discussions on market dynamics and evolving consumer trends. ESA also explored new initiatives to support industry members, including expanding training programmes and strengthening scientific communication.

With 2025 shaping up to be an important year for the sector, ESA remains committed to ensuring that the industry is well-represented and actively engaged in shaping future regulations and best practices. The meeting reaffirmed ESA’s mission to advocate for fair, science-based policies and to provide valuable resources and support for its members.
