On 28 October 2015 the European Commission presented its plan to upgrade the EU Single Market. The communication includes a number of initiatives to ensure the compliance of the products available on the European market with EU rules, and improve the implementation of safety standards.
ESA welcomes the publication of the communication as it puts the EU on course to take important steps for the protection and safety of European consumers.
