At these challenging times when COVID-19 measures must be carefully observed and implemented, inspired by the Belgian indoor tanning association’s initiative, we have prepared a set of recommendations in a form of a ‘protocol’ to support safe working of tanning studios across Europe and prepare those who haven’t reopened yet for a safe reopening.
This protocol was drafted to serve the purpose for the European market and is based on COVID-19 measures that are predominantly implemented in many countries at the moment. Consequently, in case of changes and developments, it would require updating. Further, please note that although it applies to all businesses that operate tanning beds it is particularly intended for staffed tanning facilities.
We would also like to stress that these recommendations are purely intended to serve our members as guidance meaning that all relevant measures and instructions of the government in each of the respective countries, must be respected and of course, take precedence.
